At Llanbister CP School we have taken a journey with our parents and learners over the Covid pandemic periods of lockdown. 

We have provided daily catch up teams meetings with learners since the start of the Pandemic and in the summer we moved to providing daily on line face to face teaching supported by work-packs copied and shared with the pupils both physically and electronically.

The blended approach of face to face teaching and independent activities continued through the Spring term whilst the schools moved to a full return of the learners.We provided stories on line and a virtual Eisteddfod.

IT equipment was lent to learners who had little or no provision at home to ensure that everyone had access to learning. Regular phone calls and video chats were held with all learners to ensure pupils wellbeing was being maintained.
